UI design for a new digital lottery-style game experience

As part of a small UI design team I was responsible for bringing Jisp’s new product 'JispWin' to life: a lottery-style competition product aimed at the UK convenience sector. I played a key role in shaping the system architecture and designing core interface elements.

Challenge

The user interface for this new lottery-style game needed to feel like an extension of Jisp’s existing design system while still establishing its own distinct identity as a standalone product. I was responsible for building a reusable component library in Figma, which ensured visual consistency and significantly sped up the design process. By developing accessible, flexible, and clearly structured components, I helped maintain a high standard of usability across the entire product.

Designing Signup

Both existing Jisp users and new customers needed a seamless way to activate their account or sign up for the product. I was responsible for designing this user journey, ensuring the process was intuitive while capturing all the necessary information during registration.

System Management

I was responsible for designing and building the ‘My Details’ section of JispWin. A critical feature that enables users to manage their profile information and key account settings. This included functionality for updating wallet details, managing winning payment preferences, and editing contact information. My goal was to make the experience as seamless, intuitive, and user-focused as possible, ensuring that users could quickly access and update their information with minimal friction. To achieve this, I focused on clear information hierarchy, consistent component design, and responsive layouts, while also considering accessibility best practices to cater to all users.

Additional Pages

I also designed the ‘Charity’ and ‘About Us’ pages, which played a key role in helping users understand JispWin’s purpose and values. From a UI perspective, these pages needed to do more than simply present information, they had to legitimise the product and build user trust. I achieved this by applying a clean, consistent layout that aligned with the overall design system while incorporating imagery, iconography, and typography that conveyed credibility and transparency.

Product Expansion

As the product evolved, I took responsibility for the visual identity of bonus campaigns, ensuring they fit seamlessly within the existing brand while still standing out to capture user attention. I also designed and built a suite of system emails with a consistent, on-brand look and feel, delivering critical account information to users in a clear, accessible, and engaging format.

Social Media

I also designed a series of social media assets to promote the product across multiple platforms, creating a cohesive and recognisable presence in the digital space. This work allowed me to further develop and extend the visual identity beyond the core product UI, exploring variations in layout, scale, and composition while maintaining brand consistency.

Outcome

I was responsible for multiple aspects of the product’s design, from constructing reusable UI components and developing user-focused page layouts to designing system emails and producing cohesive social media assets. Every element was crafted to maintain visual consistency, enhance usability, and create a seamless experience across all touch points. Together, these efforts not only elevated the product’s look and feel but also reinforced user trust and strengthened JispWin’s presence in a competitive market.
